For sure, they made a great couple, and she did a great job of playing
a shrew (though she was "tamed" much too quickly).
"Betaab" was the first Amrita film I managed to find, and I was amazed
that she was so young...she looks much different in her later films
(still has those odd teeth, though. :-) )

Finding ANY of her films here is next to impossible, but now I know
what to look for. Unfortunately, the only copy of "Mard" in town has
been stolen.

You are wrong. Amrita married veteran Dharmendra and lives alone with a
daughter in sub-urban Delhi.
