This movie has released recently and opened houseful, as most of the new
movies. Any news of what happened there after. The heroine is Tabbu and
there are lots of other actors and actresses. Does anyone have any more
info.

The producer of this film is K.T. Kunjumon who also produced movies
like 'Gentleman', 'Kadhalan' with Shankar. I think this was his first
after parting ways with Shankar. The film is mainly aimed at teenage
audiences. Abbas has become quite popular. I one of the polls conducted
by a telugu cable program, he was adjudged the favourite actor of
college going women.

By the way KT Kunjumon's next movie is Rakshakan (to be released in
Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Hindi) with Nagarjuna and Sushmita Sen. It is
supposed to be the most expensive film made in India till now (Music
by AR Rahman)

Wasn't 'Love Birds' also produced by KT?? I seem to remember that...
Then, that would make it the first movie away from Shankar.

Also, hasn't he made a few films away from ARR too??

Later,
Ikram.

No, KT didn't produce "LoveBirds", I think it was produced by
the "Pyramid CD" folks..

Nothing that I am aware of..
AFAIK, he made "Gentleman, "Kadhalan" and "Kadhal Desam"
and is working on "Rakshanan". Did he produce any movies before
"Gentleman".?

Well, Gentleman was Kunjumon's first movie, as far as I know, but he made
a movie called Shakthi with Vineeth after Kadhal Desam that bombed big
time, and the music was by some new comer, I think, and definitely not
ARR.

Actually, Kunjumon made a few films with Director Pavithran..
"Vasanthakaala Paravaigal" and "Suriyan".. before he finally turned to
Shankar, after having fought with Pavithran!.. Kunjumon also produced a
dud titled "Sindhunadhi Poo" with Ranjeeth and some new faces.. the film
drowned as expected!..

Later..
Sandya..
