Danielle is one of my favorite porn stars. She made many videos back in the
80's using just her first name. Her last name is Martin. She is a petite
blonde firecracker. You don't hear her name mentioned along with other
great 80's porn stars but she deserves to be at the top. Anyone know whatever
happened to her? Does she have a fan club?

One report I read (I think it may have been or been based on an interview with
her) several years ago said she was working in a Nevada brothel for a while in
the late 80s or early 90s.

She used to be one of my favorites, too. As others have said here, drugs
ruined her.
Last thing I remember seeing her in was the PBS Frontline documentary on
the death of Shauna Grant. Danielle was totally wasted-looking, had a
gravelly, barely-audible voice. God-- not the way I want to remember
her. I hope she works out her drug problems and gets herself back
together-- a truly sad case.
On a lighter note, anybody else remember the pathetically funny "S&M"
skit she did on a (Gourmet?) video-- "Danielle's Dungeon" or somesuch.
She tries in vain to act vicious toward a couple of male slaves. At one
point, she semi-brandishes a whip and asks in a Melanie Griffith-like
snarl, "Aren't you *scared*?" The slave can barely keep his belly from
jiggling with unintentional laughter. I'd rather remember this Danielle
moment instead.
