question the most intelligent female porn star.
I won't mention any names, but I have seen many posts here from female
porn stars (other than Eden) where even little simple words are
mispelled over and over again, and in some cases you never see a period
until the end. I'm not picking on anyone, I'm just pointing out what
everyone can easily see.
At 59-years-old you start to see things you didn't see when you were
younger. I was raised the right way to believe that all people are equal
no matter what race or nationality or sex they are. Years ago in this
country a woman who thought about, talked about, desired, initiated, and
enjoyed sex was very unfortunately considered a whore. I think that
normal non violent 70's porn (of which me and my late wife viewed every
Friday night in the Eros 1 or Eros 2 Theaters) helped us all, mostly
women.
Take a look at my sig. It speaks alot and Eden's intelligence and power
is very sexy to me. She owns her own company, she produces, she directs,

free. She cares about people, and she is college educated. She does what

stud Jeremy Steele. If I was a woman (or gay) I would be very jealous of
Eden. Am I jealous of Jeremy? Sure I am. I solve this problem easily by
closing my eyes when I'm with my girlfriend and pretend that she is

that even my girlfriend loves to see Eden in action.
Many men and women who read this post will say that this, that, and the
other porn stars of thier dreams are smarter and sexier, and you are all
entitled to your opinions. However, if all of the female porn stars
currently working in the business were placed in a classroom and given a
real IQ test, I know that Eden would pass with flying colors. And the
fact that she is Sicillian Italian would count as extra credit points.
For the male porn stars, Ron Jeremy would definitely get some points as
biggest class clown, but Jeremy would pass with flying colors over all.
And the fact that he never has any problem getting it up or off for Eden
would count as his extra credit points.

Or to put it another way, how does nationality have anything to do with
IQ tests?

Will you allow ties for first place? If not, then some further consideration
should be given to others, e.g., Careena Collins, Esq., Nina Hartley, Annie

As Brandy has so wittilly pointed out, perhaps misspellings are not
too accurate an intelligence indicator. No doubt many posters have
theirs spell-checked, but there are plenty of apparently smart people
out there who's (whose?) spelling is attrocious.
And anyway, spelling is just a tiny indicator of a person's total
intelligence. And what is intelligence anyway? IQ tests may be biased.
There also something to be said about a wise or well-read person, even
if they never finished high-school. There's plenty of
university-educated folks out-there that have a very narrow range of
intelligence specific to what they studied, and no clue on world
issues, or any other areas besides what they studied. i.e. not
well-rounded
I don't harbor the illussion that the porn-star of my dreams is
intelligent, maybe only the woman of my dreams. Does anyone really
want to discuss the economy, or world politics with say Jenna Jameson,
or especially many of the lower echelon "stars" out there? I think
we'd be sadly disappointed, maybe to the point of laughter.
And maybe the top stars do need a certain KIND of intelligence to
either get ahead, or remain popular, or have a vision in the marketing
of themselves. But really, if most people accept the premise that the
women are in it for the money, then if those women were really
intelligent (and had the opportunity), they could make the same or
more money using their heads rather then their bodies (and heads).
And as Brandy pointed out, IQ tests aren't pass/fail. But I theorize
that ON AVERAGE, the IQ of the actresses in the industry is below the
national average. Now, I'm sure there are some smart and who knows
even genius actresses in porn, but the average would be severely
brought down by all the usual veteran bimbos and the 18/19 year olds
enterring the business.
Just my 2 cents, yes I've generalized, and no I don't mean to insult
anyone (in particular).

Hey Eden, I hope you read this guy's post so you can see how someone who's
REALLY biased sounds. Here's a guy who clearly isn't Mensa material
himself, but who feels it would benefit everyone to know his totally
unsupported opinion (oops, sorry, it's his *theory*), namely that porn
stars as a class (oops, sorry again, he's just talking about the women) are
dumber than average. The only thing that got within ten miles of a reason
for this belief was his mention that lots of porn stars are teenagers.
Now, I happen to believe that people gain (or should gain) knowledge and
wisdom as long as they live, so naturally teenagers aren't going to know as
much as older people (on average), porn star or not. But that's not
intelligence - intelligence is the capacity to learn, not the amount known.
There is no reason to believe that porn stars are more or less intelligent
than anyone else, they're just better looking (on average) and less
inhibited (which may be a sign of higher intelligence).

I think you just answered your question by stating that the
top stars have a certain kind of intelligence. They know what their
fans want, and can deliver it. Smart marketing, but because they've
likely never had a chance to channel this in other "legit" fields they
probably wouldn't achieve the same level. Would you buy a car from
Jenna? A house from Chasey (well I would, but only if she was
included..)?
I'd guess that there's a near-equal distribution of
intelligent and not-so-intelligent porn stars as in most workplaces -
as measured by flawed IQ tests. Perhaps the reason that most tend to
be viewed as "bimbos" is the nature of their work, and the fact that
they've likely stagnated somewhat - like being in a dead-end job, you
learn the skills you need but don't feel the need to learn any others.

Theories are meant to be DISproven, aren't they? So maybe I was just
postulating, not that you rebutted me or offerred evidence to the
contrary.
OK, some reasons:
1)there's plenty of better-than-porn-paying jobs that the more
intelligent women could get.
2) drug use dumbs down some of them further
3) it was either porn or working for McDee's
4) many seemingly unable to manage their money
5) I'm sure the men in the biz are the cream of the crop IQ-wise too.
Being ex-cons doesn't mean they're dumb, but they did get caught.

There's ample evidence of porn stars not learning either from their
own mistakes or from their predecessors. (Like how to get gigs without
having to blow someone, or how not to blow their money on ex-con
boyfriends, or getting paid properly.)

You may be right, that was just my theory or maybe perception is a
better word. There're a lot of dumbasses bringing down ALL of
society's average intelligence.
As for pornstars being better looking on average, that's debatable.
Have you seen some of the amateur stuff, or the women Max or Rodney
come up with (according to various posters...)? Sure the cream of the
crop are way better looking, but there's plenty of average and below.
Maybe they look better with a dick in their mouths? Maybe the make up,
or sexy outfits?
And less inhibitted? From an evolutionary standpoint, inhibitions are
for our own benefit, risk-taking would get you killed. Granted,
risk-takers may also get ahead. But for porn-stars, having no
inhibitions these days will get you killed too, whether catching a
disease or trying drugs, or whatever. It's not as if they're sleeping
around trying to find the best possible sperm for their babies is it?
Anyway, money can disinhibit a lot of women in our society.

AMEN, I personally think that open attitudes about sex and our bodies is
sometimes a sign of a higher intellect. In some cases it displays the
individuals ability to evaluate societal mores, and recognise that they
should not be simply accepted without question. Note I said in some cases,
because there are always variations within any sample population.
It can be considered evidence of free thinking, a tendancy to explore the
wide open spaces outside the proverbial box. A willingness or desire to
express this to others and educate them to the opinion that sexuality and
sexual discovery can be a healthy part of adulthood in contemporary society
could be viewed as a beneficial (even educational) service. I am sure Nina
Hartley would agree with these assertions.
Of coourse, there will be some less educated women and men in adult also,
just as there will be some younger stars/starlets, and some who are more
mature. Some women (AND MEN) will be in it for the money, and who don't have
other ways of making income equivalent to what they can get dancing and doing
videos. There will also be others who could make the same money, but choose
for whatever their reasons, to do porn instead. It may be exibitionism, it
may be that they 'celebrity' status they acheive, or maybe they just enjoy it
more than they would enjoy sitting behind a desk.
One more thing, why give such a negative connotation to a woman choosing porn
over being a dentist? If the money is equal, why should she choose being a
dentist over being a porn star if being a porn star makes her happier?
It really shouldn't matter why anyone who has those options and chooses one
over the other. Just as your reasons for choosing to be a doctor, over being
an accountant, or being an orhestra director shouldn't be an issue for any of
us.
Yes, some girls may not be too bright, and may do porn because their other
options are slim, but that applies to people male and female, in other
professions as well. Almost anyone COULD theoretically be president (Clinton
sure has proved that one), just as they COULD be a construction worker, a
hotel manager, or anything else, but not everyone will be.
Whatever your profession, you could probably do something else, and maybe
make the same money, a little more, or a bit less, yet you still make a
living in your current field. It may be by choice, it may be by necessity, it
may be because you don't know or can't do anything else. It's a universal
reality.

This would be the reason, I think, that American porn (no heat) is no
longer that great, and the rise in popularity of European porn (tons
of heat). I particularly don't like watching stuff from
Vivid/Legend/Wicked/etc because the girls seem all jaded & glassy
eyed when they're having sex, like they're anxious to get it over
with or something. BTW, I know this has nothing to do with porn
stars' intelligence, but I just had to say this (I know many others
already have).

but you intended no insult. I surmised that you were not Mensa material
