[snipped several lines of Hustler vengence and general interview and rag
article fluff]
Do you think he's really trying very, very hard to flame me disguising it as
somehow on-topic, interesting or newsworthy?
For the record I have never been interviewed by this alleged
writer/journalist. Nor has he ever asked or even tried. He seems abit
obsessed -- to the point of being really scary -- that he either
squirrelishly archives every word I utter/type or fanatically scans dejanews
for anything with the word "brandy" in it (I wonder if he got all those cool
drink recipes. Maybe that's the problem...)
He's apparently not interest in truth and facts, only reprinting over and over
again whatever he reads in a magazine or online that millions of other people
have already read for themselves, or have access to if they give a poopie. He
can't even get my name right. Heaven forbid he ever go after anything new or
genuine. Who was it that posted the comment about Luke about getting a thrill
out of saying/writing dirty words? I tend to agree. I'm still waiting for
anything informative or thought provoking to come from this great, yet
unpublished, writer.
You can quoted Luzer (and I have no doubt you will).

Not that I'm any big fan of Luke's or yours for that matter. Actually
I'm apathetic about the whole deal, but Brandy, if you terrorize a
dog, an animal or a human long enough they will attack you, this
shouldn't be a big surprize.

But thank you for you concern. ;)
These things can be done without without making personal
attacks...loser Luke and such comes to mind. You don't like to be
attacked personally, nor do I nor does anyone (except maybe Margold)
BTW As far as Margold goes, I like the guy he is a tireless worker for
this biz and I hope that everyone realizes that my provocations of him
are good natured...He would hate reading that.

Below is the interaction between Brandy and a person who had the nerve
to rate her show a 1 on a scale of 10. The person posts these on her
website and gives this intro. It speaks for itself but pay special
attention to Alexander's congenial, nonjudgmental nature.

Subject: You're full of shit.
I have only done three "shows", all of them peep booths, so it's not
like there's a gazillion of them that all blur together. I remember
each vividly.
I NAVER had a female customer. Not ONCE! You're a lying piece of shit
and if you know what's good for your PR I suggest you remove that
bullshit about seeing
my show and being with me. EVERYONE who knows ANYTHING about me knows
I don't do chicks. Especially the ugly biker-looking kind.
I'll going to enjoy exposing you as a crap artist on my website.

>>Hi Brandy,
>>It's too bad your memory is not as good as your letter writing.
I was at the Lusty Lady with my boyfriend. I think it was about 5
years ago. I'm sorry you
don't remember but I can understand why, I didn't stay long - maybe 30
seconds. My boyfriend stayed and enjoyed the show but, you're just not
my type. I
guess we are not attracted to each other (but, I don't consider myself
an ugly biker-looking chick). Sometimes there just isn't chemistry.
>>Perhaps you're just upset that I didn't rate your show higher?

your movies and even

>>I'm sorry you don't remember but I can understand why, I didn't stay long - maybe 30 seconds.
*IF* that were true, do you really think 30 second is enough to
legitimately rate a "show" and expect your comments to be valid?
>>Yea, I do. I'm either attracted to a woman or I'm not. My boyfriend stayed
and enjoyed the show but, you're just not my type. I guess we are not

Perhaps you should let your boyfriend rate shows then.
>>Perhaps you're right. After all, it is the male audience that I am writing to
and he did like the show. I think I'll put in 2 reviews. I'll keep
mine up and add
his.

If your opinion mattered to me that might be accurate. But I don't
know you and you're giving yourself too much credit.

At the risk of another "review" I welcome you to the site. Perhaps
having a little more background on your subject will help you concoct
you stories better.

And your point is? I notice you took out the person's e-mail address --what
are you hiding from? You certainly would like all readers to be able to
access both sides of the story, wouldn't you? I mean, I didn't hoard away all
the e-mail she sent me like treasures. You also forgot to post the web
site so everyone here could go see that she is, indeed, an ugly
biker-looking chick regardless of what her mother told her.
She still continued to fawn over me once she realized that it was reallyme
who sent the e-mail.
We were talking about peep shows, not strip shows or any other production
number. As you pointed out she only stayed a moment (if indeed she was there,
but I think she's still just feeding lines to make her web site look good) I
never had any complaints from men.
Like I said, I'm not sure I see you point or what it would have to do with
Luke Ford and his book.

I don't think I've ever referred to Bill as a "loser", a "peice of
shit", "trash" or other outwardly derrogatory terms...I simply called
him an opinionated blowhard, which is how he would probably describe
himself...Why don't you ask your buddy Bill what our relationship is?
BTW I don't do personal attacks, I would never use your method of
disagreeing with someone. Personal attacks and beratement are usually
a sign of someone on a power trip which is usually a sign of low self
esteem.
I am having way too much fun in life to get stressed over stuff that
in the end is insignificant. Luke, you, me and Margold are all just
trying to carve out our place in life and none of you are a threat to
mine.
. . . . you don't use derrogatory terms to describe Bill Margold . . . .
you don't do personal attacks . . . . you don't use Brandy's method of
disagreeing with someone . . . . you carve, Luke carves, Brandy carves,
Bill carves . . . .
INSTEAD, you use transparent criticisms followed by impotent compliments
or worse yet, apologies/explainations to describe, attack, disagree, and
carve. You like being the "fly in the ointment" don't you? I'm sure that
you're doing the best you can with what you've got and where you're at.
If you were any closer to the action, you'd probably get your synapses
repolarized.
I have asked Bill what your relationship is with him. Words such as
"uninformed" were mentioned. Bill does describe himself as "striving to
preserve the letter X in the entertainment alphabet", "the last outlaw of
X", and of course, "The Bear." Nothing about being a blowhard.
Opinionated? Yes, as he's earned to right to be such (with regard to time
and accomplishments in the industry).

JRDL
I can see that this is becoming a battle between those "In the Industry"
and those "Outside the Industry." You know, it was nice to get opinions
or extra info from people in the industry that would add to our
appreciation, but it's getting tiresome to listen to industry people
tell the consumers how they don't know anything and should keep quiet.
Doesn't exactly inspire me to go out and buy the product.

All I know is everytime I have asked Bill for assistance in any way he
has given it to me graciously, he has allowed me to shoot stills at
all his functions he has put me on stage, and as far as I know we have
never had a disagreeable word, we have been at odds on a couple of
occasions but that doesn't mean I like him any less. Hell when I call
him another opinionated blowhard he has certainly knows me well enough
to know that I put myself in that same category..Anyway this is
getting way beyond interesting, and personally I have no desire to be
part of the LA porn crowd...I'll stay right here and do what I do
until such time as I want to do something else....

I suppose you know Bill and from what I know of him if all he said was
that I was uninformed and such, he probably likes me...He uses much
different terminology for those in his disdain...

These "heated" exchanges that you're seeing here in r.a.m.e. are all in
reference to Luke Ford's prolific, erroneous postings/excerpts from his
"book" he "hopes" to have "released" soon. If you backtrack posts/message
threads for the past few weeks, you will see that this is not a battle
between those "inside" and "outside" of the industry. Most of the
negative comments have some from those who were or are in the business.
Certainly, remarks about Luke's work isn't telling consumers of X at large
they don't know anything and to keep quiet.
These exchanges aren't anything different that you would find about other
entertainment news, gossip, etc. If you're tired of reading, then post
some questions to the experts that contribute to this group. Besides,
there should be something else that inspires you to go out and buy/rent
adult entertainment other than this newsgroup.

No, we'll leave that to Bill Margold: "Don't judge what you don't know.
And don't pretend to be a fan unless you are willing to pay for the right
to bray."
> Besides, there should be something else that inspires you to go out and

Like what?
Seriously, it sounds like a flip question, but what should inspire us to
buy/rent current porn?
I think most of us agree that 95% of what's produced today is crap. So
what *should* inspire me?
I mean, of course, my loins are the initial thing that gets me out of the
house and to the store, but where from there? Upon whom do I rely?
I use this newsgroup, like I used alt.sex.movies before it. I relied on
the reviews, I enjoyed the discussions. and I often sought out performers
that I wouldn't have sought out after reading about them on r.a.m.e.

Today I...........No, that wasn't me.
Actually, some of these heated exchanges have been about Luke Ford's
book. Others have been between Brandy and various people about the
industry. And still others have centered on Bill Margold and his
condemnation of those who don't belong to F.O.X.E. All in all, they
speak to an attitude which seems to be prevelant among 4 or 5 of the
industry people on the group.

I think you missed the point. The "experts"--and I assume you mean the
4 or 5 industry people I mentioned here--are posting some rather
sanctimonius things here. Why would I want to prompt this further by
asking them questions? There are a couple of industry folks here who
aren't antagnostic and a few non-industry folks that are extremely
knowledgable without being superior--I think I would approach them if I
had any questions.
>Besides,
> there should be something else that inspires you to go out and buy/rent

There certainly is. And there are certain posts here which inspire me
*not* to buy specific products. I was pointing out the poor business
practice of trashing your potential customers.
Rob A.
Why don't you have the guts to use your real name?
Generally speaking, with exceptions, someone who doesn't use their real
name does not deserve credibility... When a person walks around with a
name tag, he generally behaves better because how he acts reflects on
him... There is much disgusting behavior in big cities because people are
anonymous...
I generally behave better, for instance, when I wear a yarmulka, because
it identifies me...
I use my real name. I place it with my posts... I suffer, my reputation
suffers, when I make mistakes... As I should...
So why don't you mention all these mistakes I've made... You've said this
many times as have Brandy, BIll and others... Why don't you back up your
statements?
There's no need to get personal, though it doesn't bother me if you want
to do so... Just point out my mistakes... It will diminish my credibility
as it should. Make you look good. And it would be the right thing to do.
I sincerely wish you, Bill, Brandy, Rob A., etc.. all the best.. We may
all look back on these little skirmishes with a laugh one day.
Be well. :) :)
