I believe that this is the "Genovian" motto. Anyone care to translate?

My best guess, based on the number of Marshalls involved in the production of
The Princess Diaries:

That's a pretty good interpretation. I was trying to come up with a variation
on those words that might have a more subtle meaning.

There are lots of little things in movies that the Director (and others) try
to stick in. For example, there is a shot of the Lily and Charlotte Grove
Building. I suspect that this actually refers to Lily and Charlotte
Marshall-Fricker who play the two little autograph girls (and I'm guessing are
Garry Marshall's grandchildren).

I love to spot things like that. I also love to find continuity errors in
movies. For example, the Limo that Mia is putting on panty hose in changes
License Plates several times in the ride to the consulate.
