Did anybody else catch this?

Was it intentional?

I laughed like hell.

I am not sure if it was intentional, but I was the only person in the theatre
who caught it. I laughed for about 5 minutes too. I think it was the only
time in the whole movie that I laughed.

This scene was the only redeeming quality of a piece of crap movie. I did
laugh my ass off when he spilled. Then after the movie, I asked for my money
back.

Really? Ok. ***SPOILER ALERT***

It happens the morning after she goes to his family's house for Christmas.
The show a nice, suburban Christmas morning scene of a kid delivering
newspapers on his bike. He throws one paper and you can see the bike waver a
little. He throws the second and he goes ass over applecrate. It's about a
half hour into the film.

I was laughing too hard to continue watching. I'm *sure* this wasn't
intended.

Just watch the movie last night and noticed the same sceen. It was
an unexpected laugh. It was so unexpected that we stopped the movie
and rewound the tape to watch it a 2nd and 3rd time. I'd have to agree
that it must of been an accident...it just LOOKED TO REAL to have
been staged. If it was staged, I expect we will see a lot more of
who ever it was that did the bike stunt in the future.

I was laughing for a full ten minutes *after* they showed that! Did I miss
anything during that time?? It was just too funny...

Cheers,
Kanga------->laughing all over again over such a simple scene!

y'know? i almost think it HAD to be intentional.
it LOOKED completely unintentional
(and i missed the entire next scene cause i was laughing so hard)
but the camera angle was just too perfect.
they knew it was coming.
and it fit in with the movie well, too.

Another comment on this scene: I read somewhere that the theme of
slipping/falling on ice was intentional, and a recurring one. Remember
the big slip n' slide bit in front of Lucy's apartment building? Given
that the whole movie was about falling in love, it makes sense.

Just my $.02
