Was this a really, really small bit part ? Or did I just totally
go brain-dead (easy to understand, considering the movie itself)?

It was a REALLY small part. She was the girlfriend of the trailer park
army recruit. He went off to get fried by the Martians. Remember the
bus scene as he was leaving? She was his girlfriend that gave him the
kiss good bye. She was only in two short scenes.

Caught by the martians I'm guessing. The scene where their helmets
fog up.
Didn't notice it was the same character tho... Never realized it
was Applegate either. :)
