James Franco engaged in some TMI while promoting "127 Hours" at the
Telluride Film Festival this weekend.
In Danny Boyle's action flick, which stars Franco as real-life
mountaineer Aron Ralston, the main character is shown pleasuring
himself while stuck under a boulder before he is forced to cut off his
own arm with a blunt knife to free himself.
Franco told the Hollywood Reporter that Ralston never admitted to
masturbating while trapped in the Utah Mountains for several days, but
that he could still relate to the scene.
"When I'm alone, I do masturbate a lot. I tend to have a four- or five-
time day," the hotel-hopping star told the industry website with a
laugh. "So, I probably would have if I was stuck under a rock."
But Franco added that even if Ralston did pleasure himself before he
severed his own arm, he would never admit it in public.
"He's kind of a gentleman, I guess he doesn't talk about that stuff,"
the 32-year-old actor told the Hollywood Reporter.
"127 Hours" is set for release on November 5.
Sounds like narcissism. A pity that someone as
fortunate as James Franco would have this flaw.
From the unedited transcript:
"When I'm alone, I do masturbate a lot---Oh SHIIIIT! I tend to have a
four- or five-time day," the hotel-hopping star told the industry
website with a laugh. "So, I probably would have if I was stuck under
a rock--GODDDD!."
But Franco added that even if Ralston did pleasure himself before he
severed his own arm, he would never admit it in public.
"He's kind of a gentleman, I guess---UNGH UNGH UNGH--he doesn't talk

Pun intended, of course. Up next for Franco, the role he was born to
play: Detective Harry Palms.
Whatever his secret, Borgnine certainly does look good
for 91. Even for 71.
Maybe, but some secrets should stay kept.
Rachel Maddow got a case of the shys discussing it, and started saying
"a word that rhymes with celebrate" and "celebration".

Leftover caution, no doubt. 'The love that dare not raise its
hand...'
While we're on the subject, exactly what gender is Rachel Maddow?
Well, since, Franco has almost certainly jacked off to her image, why
don't *you* answer the question?
Put your glasses on. She's a woman.
Has he jacked off to Elena Kagan's image too?
The man jacks off four or five times a day. He's jacked off to
everyone.
Just asking, but apparently I'm not the only one.
From Ann Coulter's column, 2/17/10:
"Olbermann's most macho guest, Rachel Maddow, demanded to know --"
It begs the question... to whose image does calvin jack off?
If he doesn't know Rachel Maddow is a girl and Ann Coulter isn't...
Tom
You didn't know--he's been beatin' off with comments about James Franco
for several years now.
> If he doesn't know Rachel Maddow is a girl and Ann Coulter isn't...
Only one of the above has an adam's apple.
Ann Coulter? How many She Male magazines has she appeared in?
LOL! I bet his keyboard is mighty sticky from this thread.

And we all know it's *not* Dr. Maddow.
Tom
So YOU'RE the one still reading her column.
It is according to Oxford:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Maddow
"In 2001, she earned a Doctorate in Philosophy (DPhil) in politics
from Oxford University."
In view of Coulter's oft-expressed disdain that Keith Olbermann got
his degree from the WRONG college at Cornell--whatever that means--
where did Ann get HER doctorate?
[you libs can't even understand each other]

Nowhere, apparently, but she graduated 'cum laude' from Cornell
and her post graduate work and honors are also described at Wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ann_Coulter
Anyway, do you claim that Coulter needed a PhD to
refer to Maddow as 'macho'?
I'm quite confident tomcervo and I understand each other perfectly.
However, at the risk of wasting some electrons, what do you mean,
calvin?

WTF?
She needs a mirror, not a doctorate.
Coulter is the mannish-looking one.
Tom
I said I was going to try not to ever respond to you again,
so now I have failed; but that doesn't mean that I will
respond to you at any time except when I bloody well feel
like it, so don't bitch when I don't.
Look at the two Wikipedia articles linked above to see
what Maddow and Coulter look like. [Coulter is the female.]
Re: tomcervo not understanding you, see above. He
thought you were saying that Maddow did not have a PhD,
when obviously you were only saying that she does not
have an adam's apple.
[This is an example of an exchange that I'm not
likely to continue with you.]
Was that before or after the last time you left the group permanently?
No--only that OP Tom was incorrect in asserting that Rachel Maddow is
not entitled to the title "Doctor". Oxford PhD's had intellectual
weight before the discovery of America--and Michigan, for that matter.
Correction. He was saying "Not Dr. Maddow", not, as I read, "It's not
Dr."
But the whole looks thing is ridiculous. I've seen both women talking
on TV. I find Maddow attractive because of her brains and cheerful
manner; I find Coulter unattractive because of her lack of same.
I don't think you failed, calvin. I think you made a choice to respond.
I always try to be a glass half-full kind of guy...
but that doesn't mean that I will

Why so hostile?
>

They're both females and Dr. Maddow is by far the better person.

Your choice.
Until next time, then...
Tom
That's correct. I was referring to the Adam's apple thing. I pains me to
say this, but calvin was right! ;-)
If Rachel was my daughter, I'd be soooo proud of her.

You're right, the looks thing is ridiculous. I'd love to hear calvin
explain why he felt it necessary to insult Rachel in the first place.
Finally, your descriptions of the two of them are perfect. Thanks!
Tom
I find Maddow insufferable because of her smug, self-righteous
leftism. I find Coulter delightful because of her humourous
approach to ridiculing the left, and because of her genuine
cheerfulness. Both have brains, but Coulter's are in the service
of her country, while Maddow's are sold out to liberal elitist
cliques.
Eventually I will be liberated from this group,
by death if by no other means.
You can find the answer by examining your own behavior.
Aside from exercising your free will, calvin, what other means are there?
And why do you think this group is something from which you need
liberation? Are you imprisoned in front of a computer that only connects
to Usenet groups?
Posting here (and there) mustn't be very enjoyable for you if you use
words like "liberated."
Tom
Usenet addiction is very much like drug addiction. There
is some pleasure in the beginning, but eventually it only
temporarily satisfies a recurring need that is rarely connected
with pleasure.
Call Sam Raimi--we have the plotline for "Drag Me to Hell II".
What hope is there for us "normal" people if not even she is considered
pretty. I think Sarah Palin is awful (the worst), but also very pretty.
Maddow is very cute indeed

Are you kidding? Maddow is practically Rubenesque. You're mistaking
Coulter's Morticia tresses for evidence of estrogen...

You must, at least, agree that Palin is a dog with fleas though.
Smart women are hot. Witty women are hot. So, yeah, I'd make
allowances for Coulter's animation-armature physique. See you in
Hell...
Hey, if you're goal in life is to reenact "The Crying Game" so be it.
I also take a page from Ronald Reagan: "Trust, but verify..."
Since we began anew calvin (something you suggested with which I
wholeheartedly agreed), I have been respectful and tolerant.
I don't think it's my behavior that requires a closer scrutiny.
Tom
Usenet Addiction?
You?
Really?
Turn off your computer and take a walk, calvin.
I don't know about there, but here it's a beautiful, cloudy,
post-Hermine remnant storm day and everything smells fresh and clean
outside.
Now, it's off to install a new sink in the powder room.
