can anyone decipher what Fenster is saying throughout the movie?
Does Benicio Del Toro talk like that in real life? It's wack!

However, I saw him in an episode of HBO's noir series ("Fallen Angels" I
think)
with Dana Delaney, and he talked the same way.

I've seen Del Toro in a few things were he was playing someone from
another country and he used the appropriate accent. He was in a
mini-series on tv around nine years ago, and he was playing a Mexican drug
dealer with a Mexican accent. I saw him in film where he played a
Spaniard sailing with Columbus, and he used that type of accent, but no
slurring or mumbling at all. Also saw an interview with him on E!
Entertainment Television when TUS came out, and he said he just thought
that Fenster should mumble, he used it, Bryan Singer liked it and allowed
him to use that device in the film. I can't anything strange about his
speech, maybe a slight trace of an accent, he may be from Puerto Rico or
Cuba, so possibly that's the reason for the accent, if there is any, but
I've read that he was born and raised in New York. If anyone knows
anything about him, please email m at the above address. He's a very
interesting actor.
