Did anyone read the credits at the and of Fargo?
The Victim in Field was given a symbol, similar to Prince's, instead of
a name. A rewond the movie and it showed the guy twice:

1: When he drove by (He looked kinda like Chris Farley)
2: When he was running away in the field (You couldn't see his face)

Who was this?

I Remember reading that he was somebody involved in making the movie. A
producer or something. It was not however Prince. (read it in the british
Empire)

Yet AGAIN, the Victim in Field was J. Todd Anderson, the storyboard
artist. NOT that artist formerly known. This has been asked hundreds
of times. [No, it's probably not a true story per se, no, it didn't
cost $50 million, yes, that was Bruce in the soap opera...etc, etc,
etc]

Just what I was about to say. If everyone would just read Empire, we'd
never have these problems in the first place.

The victim in the field was the Coen brothers' storyboard artist. His
name is Todd Anderson or something like that. You can find him under
FARGO in the internet movie database.

I'm a college friend of J. Todd Anderson (John Anderson) who plays the
victim in the field in FARGO. He told me during his last visit to L.A.
that his end credit has perked a lot of interest. Let's just say, more
interest than what he would have received if just his name had been
listed.

In the biz, you want to be noticed. Though he has no real interest in
acting, he's been the subject on many fronts. I guess with the number of
internet messages regarding him, that is obvious.

What people have noticed is the credit -- and the fact that it looks
like it was Prince, or the Artist Formally...blah blah.

Nobody (except people who read this list) know it was this friend of
yours!

J. Todd Anderson had his credit listed the way it was in FARGO mainly to
create debate, not fame for himself.

Though I'm sure he did not have the original film version of FRANKENSTEIN
in mind, you may recall that in the end credits, the Monster was played by
"?." This generated interest in the actor portraying the part, in this
case, Boris Karloff. It also created much discussion, which is all John
really wanted to do.

Again, he doesn't really care to be an actor, but who knows what it could
ever lead to, if anything. You never know.
