Good little adult character study film with Michael Douglas. Had been
nothing to see in months.

POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT !

Wonder what his character chooses at the end ? His ex wife or his self
destructive womanizing ways ?

I gather no one has seen it ? Not too many screens or box office i
think.

Very small independent seeming film. Low key character study, well
done though.

I saw it when it was released around 2 months back. I made a few posts
about it here, no one replied to those either.

As for the ending given the talk he had just had with his ex wife and
the beating he got I doubt he would have gone after the college
student, I think he had accepted his age and health, but in truth
there is no ending, it is ends that way to give you something to think
about.

The film's release had a "no fly-over state" zone!eheheh Other than
seeing Michael's prune face, it was a cute dramedy. eh Albeit, I can't
understand why they chose to go with the Johnny Cash cover of Neil
Diamond's "Solitary Man?" If they couldn't get the rights, I would
have gone with Chris Isaak's cover instead! eh
