LONDON (Rueters) -- It's a bird!
It's a plane! Hell, NO! It's a freakin'
miracle.
<
Stephen Hawking today admitted
there IS a God and revealed that he
now gets down on bended knee at bed-
time to give Him thanks.
<
Hawking, who wears a Size 9 hat
because of his enormous brain, said
"The Devil made me do it" when asked
why, for all these years, he attempted
to convince people there is NO God.

STEPHEN SMILES, NOW THAT THE DEVIL IS OFF HIS SHOULDER
<
Actually, Rueters has just learned
Steve finally saw the light about two
weeks ago and really wanted to keep it
to himself.
<
But this morning, after a cup of
tea and a long heart-to-heart talk with
himself, he decided to inform a lifelong
friend, one Ed Conrad in America, and
tried to phone him with the Good News --
but, unfortunately, Ed wasn't home,
so Steve left a message.
<
This is a text of that message
and even an imbecile knows that it's
the voice of Stephen Hawking.

<
Steve now admits he was a horse's
ass for writing a book, The Grand
Design, in which he emphatically
stated that God is a boogeyman Who
DOES NOT EXIST.
<
http://www.readersread.com/pics/the_grand_design_cover.jpg
<
In it, he had erroneously argued
that the Big Bang, instead of occurring
following the intervention of a Supreme
Bean, was inevitable due to the law
of gravity.
<
In his 1988 book, A Brief History
of Time, Hawking had seemed to accept
the role of God in the creation of the
universe. But in The Grand Design, he
wrote that new theories show a Creator
is "not necessary."
<
In The Grand Design, Hawkins had
challenged the belief of Sir Isaac Newton,
Galileo and Ed Conrad that the universe
must've been designed by God since it
certainly couldn't have been created out
of chaos.
<
Rueters really believes Professor
Hawking changed his thinking about
God and the universe because of these

If this report is true it's very sad.

It's just pragmatic. On the off-chance that there is a god, it's common
sense. On the other hand if there isn't, no harm has been done!
