Rather than inherit the family BBQ restaurant, a black kid dreams of
becoming a sommelier, to his father's consternation. Set in Memphis
(authentically, I'm told) Netflix's UNCORKED plays its culture-clash
fairly straight. So, instead of a protracted SNL skit, we get a light
family drama that's both appealing and engaging. Mostly recommended.
