I doubt anyone here has seen this, there were only 4 people in the theatre counting myself. Anyway this starts off well enough, but I have to give a major spoiler because I just couldn't believe my eyes, this film repeats the ending of Seven, and by that I mean John Cusack's girlfriend's head is in a bag, and he repeatedly says "What's in the fucking bag!?!" now unlike Seven the female character is never seen in the film only talked about once, and as soon as he mentions her you know her head is in the bag that he is being asked to transport but told not to open. just can't believe they would try and recapture that magic of Seven, not a bad film other wise, not great but I would give it 11 Kevin Spacey smirks out of a possible 20. When Piggy or Nick sees the film in a few months I will try to remember to bump this thread.

If I see it. I was going to say I thought John Cusack used to be picky about the movies he appears in but lately he's been getting as bad as Robert De Niro . . . and then noticed that Robert De Niro is in Bag Man too.

I caught his other just released thriller Grand Piano, where he plays opposite Elijah Wood. Starts out alright. Not really "Hitchcockian" but more on the level of De Palma or an Italian Giallo, with that level of trashy silliness, but it falls apart fast and it ends at the 77 minute mark with 12 minutes of credits, so there must have been production problems. I noticed that Elijah Wood is starting to look like a good looking Peter Lorre, leading man handsome but with bug eyes, perfectly suited for the off-kilter horror thriller direction he's going in.
