Announcing the return of the Twilight Knights under a new name and location. (TKDBC from Jacksonville / Orange Park Florida)

Twilight Knights Drum and bugle corps. TKDBC is proud to announce new
programs and a new home location and name. We are now based out of
Jacksonville / Orange Park, FL. We are a non-profit, 301c, group
We are a Competitive corps that participates in parades, exhibitions
and annual events for our supporting communities. Now under the
direction of Jeff Mesker. TKDBC will field for the first time since
2000. In 2010 the corps plans to compete in Small Drum Corps
Association (SDCA) and Drum Corps Associates (DCA). We have future
plans to return to DCI as well. A summer tour is scheduled for 2010.
In order to meet the challenge of a successful tour, The corps is
expanding its' transportation and equipment assets. We currently have
one 47 passenger tour bus, and vans. We are purchasing two additional
47 passenger tour buses, a staff bus and equipment and food trucks.
In
addition we have switched from G Bugle horns to brand new B flat
horns
for 2010. So bring along your friends who play brass or a woodwind
instrument. We have a very talented and dedicated staff of
instructors
who are more than willing to teach. New uniforms are in the plans for
2010 as well. And for the percussion section we will have all new
Battery and Front line equipment. Sponsors are being lined up now!!
We are very proud to be ACTIVE and serve the community and everyone
who loves the world of Marching's Finest!!! We are pleased and proud
to announce to our two newest ensembles. The TWI-KNIGHTS Winter guard
and LEGIONS Indoor Percussion Ensemble. Both groups will be competing
in WGI and various circuits.

We currently are recruiting for all member positions within the
corps.
We encourage anyone who has played a brass, woodwind, percussion
instrument or have participated in color guard or have no experience
at all but want to be a member to come be a part of North Florida's
NEWEST SDCA & DCA Drum and Bugle Corps and Music education Ensembles.
All who is interested in the corps or one of its ensembles is highly
suggested to attend the next camp or clinic. TKDBC believes in
providing its members and staff a world with almost endless options
when it comes to creating a production and theatrical or emotional
environment. Be it on the football field or indoors or life. We at
TKDBC value each and every person who has the drive and dedication
towards music and the drive and desire to be better.
The history of Drum Corps, is extensive. The process has moved and
grown, and become an environment of physical and emotional positive
reinforcement for its members and staff.
Our instructors and staff will help educate you in the instrument of
your choice and help throughout the season and the future. We believe
in the education side of our organization as well. It has been proven
that those involved in the Arts excel and achieve more in school and
in life
We are a corps who will take the time to help you in any endeavor you
have as much as we can. We have big plans for the TKDBC
