DCA was really great fun this year. I hadn't been in quite some time
but I am definitely going back next year and MOST definitely in 2012
when it will be held in Annapolis. Maybe you should give it another

encouraging DCI aged kids to forgo DCI... FOR DCA.
Ergo... Mr Silva made DCA... a defunct association.

shadowy backroom deals of the past and eliminated them and far more

no. My prime was out there playing, then teaching, and even some
administration. Paying my corps bills out of my own pocket to keep it
alive. Sure, I did say your corps had issues in 1986.Specifically, .55
worth of issues that had your corps in 11th place at prelims, which
somehow had the DCA rules changed that afternoon to allow your corps
to be a finalist that night. I often wonder if that led to the death
of the Royalaires.

I was there in 1986. J. Birney Crum Stadium. Lower deck at prelims,
upper deck at finals right in front of the press box...about the 48
yard line. I still remember the music tear Steel City had at finals
that led to their loss of the show, and the smoking Bushwackers run
that night that won it.

except I haven't fucked anyone over Sharon. You feel that way because
you disagree with me and attribute all kinds of hidden agendas in my
behavior that don't exist in any reality other than what your head
tells you.
As for advancing drum corps, I'll take credit for making the G7 stuff
public...I think doing so helped drum corps quite a bit. I've also
done lots I've never talked about on here or DCP. Why? I don't feel
the need to brag or prove my experience is so much more great than
anyone else's like you do.

I was only trying to communicate that sometimes, when having become
disillusioned by something, whatever that may be, giving it some time
and space and perhaps going back and giving it a fresh eye, could be a
positive and productive move.
Or at least it was in my case. I had a great time, the corps have
really stepped up their game, I enjoyed the absence of synths
"enhancing" tuba players ( I like the sound of low brass) and it was
just an all-around enjoyable experience.
Just sayin'.
