Anyhoo, perhaps a split would be better than compromised compromisers?

Solon open to ceasefire with mayor on flowerfest row

* 2nd Panagbenga launching set
RANKING officers of the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation are not losing hope for
"reconciliation" with the Baguio Panagbenga Flower Festival Association (BPFFA) even
as the former also tentatively set on November 28 or on December 3 the launching of
their own flower festival.
Acknowledging the implications of having a divided festival, Baguio Representative
Mauricio Domogan urged Mayor Braulio Yaranon and businesswoman Nelia Cid to share
their ideas to the foundation so as to come up with a single idea, and eventually,
only one flower festival.

Among the activities lined up include the "Let-a-Thousand-Flowers-Bloom" banner
painting contest, pre-qualification street dancing contest, street dancing parade,
float parade, drum, bugle and lyre competition, Session Road in Bloom, market
encounter, pony boys day, Mr. Panagbenga and the closing ceremonies.
