Blame Mr Briggs for showing us those virused videos...
Thanks for the "BIG" picture Rich. For me it kinda keeps all of the
whining that goes on not just here on RAMD but anywhere really. (Gee,
what a great segue for the RAMD resident petard, if you get my
drift.:-) A decade and more ago, when I lived back in Jersey I was a
full member of the AMNH. Those YouTube clips that you posted, are they
being shown in the Planetarium? This coming Thursday I'll be back in
NYC to attend Joey Pero's club date down on Layfette St. I'll be
staying over one night before heading on down to Archie's practice
Friday night. Think I'll stop up to CPW and 81st (right where to
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade starts) to check out the Planetarium.

hehehe...
Why not experience it in person. One more year with Archie could get
you into the PaDCHOF!!!!! You know there's always an open chair there
for you. AFO-OFA.

I know but i'm not able to do that anymore. My knees and legs have
gone astray...
I know what you mean. I have a torn miniscus (sp) in my right knee but
I can still hold a horn and do the stage shows. Come over to Archie
this Friday and the first 3 rounds are on me. That's for Big Rich
Soprano ONLY. I ain't mad of money. :-) And by the way Archie is
sponsoring the GAS this coming April/May. Talk about a blast.
Siglow
...add me in for the Joey Pero update.
Jackie
I will do. I think Ponzo is going to be in the audience as well but
can't swear to it.
Siglow
I appreciate the offer but and as i don't drink adult BEvERages
anymore it would be milk only or maybe a soda. (ask NanciD) Until i
get my health situation under control i must sadly, greatfully and
respectfully decline...
Okay Sis, just for you. Just got back to my hotel in N.J. after
attending Joey Pero's club date at Joe's Pub just outside the NYU
campus in lower Manhattan. He opened with a lip flexibility piece very
reminiscent of Allen Vizzutti and was well received by a very
receptive audience. All of his show was directly off of his maiden CD
"Resonance" which really is an exercise in covering just about every
genre from Bach's Goldberg Variations to The Finest Romance to Crazy.
His versatility is also reminiscent of his Julliard mentor the great
Winton Marsalis himself. But Joey IS showing that while he has been an
excellent student, he is definitely ready to take his own place in
entertainment field. He is developing a real flare and style all his
own. And Sis, just in case you didn't know, the guy on marimbas also
went to Julliard (that's where he & Joey met) was a member of Jersey
Surf a few years ago.
That's it for now. Gotta get some sleep. It's back to NYC in the
morning to AMNH to see that show in the Planetarium, then back to
Hoboken to pick up a couple of crumbcakes from Carlo's City Hall
Bakery, a couple of twists of mozz form Fiero's and lastly a couple of
loaves of pepperoni and sausage bread from Dom's Grand St. Bakery
before I travel on down to Archie's rehearsal Friday evening. Steel
City canceled there weekend rehearsal so I'll (hopefully) stay with
the Terreris' (that's what the bribe of the crumbcake, mozz and bread
is for:-) and head up to the Madison Elks to rehearse with Brooklyn
United and St. Lucy's Alumni before heading home Saturday night.
Hey Big Rich, I took the pledge some 25 years ago. Stop on over for a
couple of diet Pepsi's.
After my health stables...
I never read so many NAME DROPPING in my life!
HANG ON TO SIGLOW! He'll take YOU far! :)
