as I can remember Centerville's drumline was the worst in the area until last
Oct.(when Fairbanks took over). So when you guys are best in the area for
about ten years come talk to us about sucking, but until u can establish
yourself for many years just shutup. Miamisburg's drumline was undefeated
during the marching season from about 1987-1997(this is a fact b/c our old
instructor Kevin Rusnak marched from 87-90 and he said we had never been beat
when he was here and my brother marched from 91-95). We had instructor
problems the last two years, but now we have a new staff and are working at
rebuilding the program. So until you win year after year dont start the
bashing. If I remember correctly we never bashed other lines while we were on
top. So I guess you guys dont know much about class after all.

By the way there is no way u guys could beat the drumline we had in 94-95. It
was by far the best local drumline ever. We played Saint-Seans and it was
amazing.

hmmmm....let me think, oh yeah, jamie, the lead trumpet player from last year,
the most arrogant and conceited trumpet player ive ever met, oh, and the lead
tenor from last year too, his attitude was the same way, both of them had this
" I'm holier than thou." attitude, so yes, i have met people from the
centerville jazz band, and a few of my friends have relatives that are in the
jazz band, so yes, i have also worked wiht people from this groups, so it is
actually kind of funny that you say i dont know what im talking about

Jamie Kauffman rules....he was in Miami Valley Jazz Labs with me, and he was
not arrogant at all. He is an awesome trumpet player. Oh and uh yeah, he
GRADUATED!!!!!! It's a new year.

As a matter of fact, I've been with Bellbrook Band as a parent/chaperon/booster
for 7 years. So, yes, I have met many, many members of the Centerville Jazz,
the staff and parents. They most definitely DO show a great amount of class
and I speak from personal experience!!!

This is Ryan H. Turner, more or less a well known person here on this
close-to-pitiful newsgroup and a show design/former VK drum major/assistant
band director/all around nice guy from southern Cal. I just wanted to take a
moment of your time and wish you good luck in policing the "in house" attempt
at controlling incredibly ignorant posts like the one you just responded to. I
have mad my run in's with people that don't particularly like my opinion, which
is one thing. But I too have made it clear to people that I am working with
that you need to be civil on this newsgroup...opinion is one thing, blatant BAD
sportsmanship is another.
I HIGHLY doubt it was anyone from your drum line, however, if it is, could you
please make sure that in between beatings of this offensive ignoramus that you
let him/her know that this newsgroup, albeit the last bastion of free speech in
the world, is only read by a few hundred thousand people....and THEY ALL LOVE
TO TALK, as you can see.

okay, so Jaime Kaufman is a little prick, I played in a ska band with
him and he basically destroyed it, but he also got kikced out of jazz
enseble last year, he is an ass, so please dont judge my friends on that
jack-ass, and as for lead tenor, do you mean percussion or sax, because
there are no lead saxophones...and as for percussion, the lead tenor
last year was THE MOST HUMBLE and coolest guy in the
band...anyways...just wanted to defend some of my friends

Dude, whoever you are cut it out. We don't need crap like this, you seem
bent on irritating people as much as possible... Guess what: you are
accomplishing nothing by doing this other than proving that you have the
maturity level of an 8 year old. I truly hope that you don't go to
Centerville, I would hate to have to associate on a daily basis with someone
