Once again, the post below contains some Berserk Manga spoilers post-vol
13 or so.

Well, you should read it yourself I suppose. But like I said, nothing
much happens. If I were to sum up the first volumes, there's many plot
points to mention, ending with the eclipse. However after the eclipse
there's not much worth mentioning. Hundreds of people die by demons
hands in generic and gory ways, Gutts kills some bugs, generic knights,
and some religious fanatics. Caska and other females are in various
states of undress, constantly one second from being raped by a mob of
demons. Rickert and Erica are the only characters not yet raped or
killed, but I'm sure they're saving them for the coup de grace, the
ultimate fucking over of Gutts. Oh yeah, and Griffith's suddenly a human
again, decidedly noncommunicative, but a bunch of ultra powerful guys
(Zodd included) have his back. There's where we're left. It took us 9
volumes to get some semblance of progress going again.

He's constantly obsessing over saving Caska(who needs to be saved
repeatedly, now that she's filling the damsel in distress role), if
that's what you mean. But he also kills about a hundred children in a
round about way. There's maybe a slight bit of remorse as he's doing it,
but not much.

Downloaded fan scans/translations.

Can you recommend some websites? The 7 volume stretch doesn't
sound promising in terms of quality but I'll decide for myself
whether its good or not. Anyways thanks

Unfortunately no. I can tell you I got all of mine from
alt.binaries.pictures.manga. The whole thing was posted over the last 40
or so days. Unless you have a news server with good
retention(www.easynews.com) they won't be very accessable. A web site
may have them, I just don't know about it.

p.s. i like the manga, and i don't have a problem with the filler being too disconnected from the
main plot.

Anyone have any Berserk Manga (preferably earlier in the series) that they're willing to share? (and
any way to send it over to me?)
Thanks.
Also, as I missed the earlier bits of this thread, what was the "7 volume stretch" refering to?
