I thought they were still at the new Tournament thingy... Guess this means
either Goku was worried over nothing, or that the little, reincarnated Buu is
no threat at all... Maybe I should pick up a new issue of the Chinese
translated weekly sometime soon...
Too bad he ended it just before there was the possibility of exploring the
story with the new generation of half Saiyajin, half earthlings...
Oh well, at least there won't be any more complaints of drag-on for this series
anymore...

Well, it's time for him to take a rest since DB has lasted for so many
years, but the ending is kinda chessy. I originally thought he will
start any tournment for a new enemy(new Buu), somehow..... Oh well, I
have to pay more attention to Slam Dunk and other series in Shonen Jump now.

Finally... Drag On Ball IS GONE!!!!!!! What are all the fans to do..
Ho HO Ha ha....
Maybe Toriyama should come to AX, so he can shoot guns... ^_^
He probably wanted to shoot Dragon ball, but Shonen Junk didn't let him....

Snif... this is a sad day for Dragon Ball fans.........

Nice to hear that it was ended. At least, we can release from the drag on
story, and Toriyama can relief from this story, he said he was very tried.--

Yes, especially tired at writing DBZ. He said he will re-start Dr. Slump
again.

Yep, I'm glad DB ended b/c it was dragging on waaaaay too long. Toriyama
should have just ended it after Freezer died in Planet Nammeku. Remember
the ending for the Fist of North Star wasn't as good as the fights between
the brothers because it dragged on. Hara Tetsuo should have ended it after
Kenshiroo beat Kaiou. Anyway, back to DB, I will miss it greatly though b/c
I grew up with it for the last 10 years. Let's hope a new series is on the
way. By the way, this is just an ego boost but I could get hold of Jumps
for $2 (although they're couple weeks behind) at a local Japanese grocery
store. Not bad, eh??
Any comments?

Toriyama's already restarted Dr. Slump. It's been running for some time in
V-Jump, along with his other current series, "Go! Go! Ackman". It's not
that bad, actually ...

If I remember correctly, Toriyama isn't drawing the restarted Dr. Slump.
I think it was one of the DBZ animators that is drawing it, but the
stories are looked over by Tori-sa or something like that.

But, Akira Toriyama re-started Dr.Slump some while ago, in the Magazine V-Jump.
Also, the serie is in color!

Yeah... and when he is tired at writing new Dr. Slump, he will
re-start DB again... (just a guess, but it is possible)

C programming language is suitable for use by novice programmers & by those
: the brothers because it dragged on. Hara Tetsuo should have ended it after

Hokutou no Ken started to drag in a positive way right after the fight
between Kenshirou and Shin, but since Hara Tetsuo did such a superb job in
the fight scenes and to each individual sub-stories, you won't even
realize that it is dragging, but that skill disappeared after Raou died.
So what happened after Raou died? They are just dreams... Actually the
appearance of another five stars out of nowhere to protecting Yuria from
Raou, and the Tenrousei ( Yuria's older brother ) can be said as bad
drag, but they are all zako that got kill in 3 pages, besides the Cloud
one.
The thing about the six stars of Nantou and the Rokuseiken is the first
drag. These weren't mentioned at the beginning, Hara Tetsuo made it up
after Rei appeared. ( Rei said, "The six stars of Nantou are the six
generals guarding the six gates of the palace of the Emperor." ) This fits
into the fighting "something <some number> something" motif of Shonen
Junk. The Nantou martial arts that Shin uses, and Rei's Nantou Suijuken
can support that. The martial arts that the six stars use all named after
names of birds, but Shin's doesn't even have a name, and Rei's is
"Suijuken" ( Water Bird Fist ), which doesn't fit into the names of the
martial arts of the rest of the six stars. ( Phoenix, Red Crane, etc )
In any case, this new Ryuusei thingy of his in Junk now, is just Hana no
Genji in present, guns instead of spear and arrows, and more Stallone
movie references... which makes it really funny.
"The way to say hi for two pros is to shoot at each other until all the
bullets have used up..." from City Hunter, when Mike and Ryo met, a
parody of Hana no Genji.

Interesting...
Given Dragonball's popularity in many circles
and given some fanatics don't want it to end
(not fans--the merchandisers)
What do you think Dragonball's chances are of receiving the same treatment,
supposing Hououji-san's memories are correct?
Also, how is Dr. Slump, anyhow? I keep seeing that blue-haired girl with a
zillion inventions that rival Capsule. Who is she?
