Hi,

In order to get the description of an object in a room, I've to give the command "look at ...". My question is how to automatically get the description of the objects placed in a room in inform6, without "looking" at them?

Thanks in advance for reply!

If you have an object an "initial" property, that text will appear in
the room description until the first time the player picks it up. If
you give it a "describe" property, that text will appear in the room
description all the time. Both of these are separate from the
"description" property, which is what appears when the object is
examined.
