London - National Gallery
Tate Gallery
Victortia and Albert Museum
Paris - Louvre
Orsee (sp)
Pompidrou Center
Rodin
My art interests are very eclectic, with particular emphasis on
the high Renaissance, Mannerists, Impressionists, and post-Impressionists.
I am particularly fond of Van Gogh and Carrevagio.
Any advice would be welcome!

I can't help with Scotland but I have a few suggestions for London and
Paris.
In London, you shouldn't miss the Courtauld Institute - they have an
incredible collection of Impressionist and Post - Impressionist works (as
well as Old Masters) - sometimes missed by tourists who hit the other
spots on your list.
In Paris, there are many smaller museums which are also excellent:
- the Jeu de Paume - by the edge of the Tuelerie Gardens - contains the
major Monet Waterlily murals and some excellent Imp. ptgs.
- the Marmottan - for Monet
- the Picasso Museum - alittle hard to find but worth the effort
- Giverny - while it's really not the best time of year for a trip to
Monet's house and gardens (about 45 minutes from Paris) and incredible
in the Spring, they have a new museum - the Terra Museum - featuring
the American Impressionists who wear influenced by Monet. I haven't
been there yet but it's
supposed to be quite good.
Of course, there are alot of great galleries to see as well but I doubt
you'll have the time (or energy) after all the museums. Bring very
comfortable shoes. Enjoy!

I don't think that your interests are very eclectic. A lot of
american people have your interests and will walk the same paths
with you. So I gave you some places where you will find other
people and Paintings of the same value as in that places you
indicated. I've been a lot of times in London and Paris so try to
ask me for further details if you want.
Bye
