Hi, there.

Ms. HongBei He, a Chinese painting artist, wants to meet with a lady
(LadyX)
who has been buying her paintings. Ms. He only knows that LadyX resides in

the big New York area. The art salesperson knows who LadyX is, but would
not
let Ms. He know. If LadyX happens to see this post, please contact Mr. Du
at
312-927-2353 or r...@tribune.com.

Any suggestions on how to find LadyX will be greatly appreciated. Please
send
email to Ron at r...@tribune.com. Thanks a million.

[This reminds me of the legend of Cupid and Psyche: you know the
part where Cupid just visits her at night, with a caution not to try
and discover his identity - of course her curiosity gets to be too much
for her, and on exposure he must vanish.
The gallery in which the paintings are being sold obviously does
not wish to bring the parties together, because they could then
eliminate the middleman and deal directly with each other. It seems the
gallery has been successful in arranging some sales- why not let them
keep doing so? If an artist persists in going behind their back, they
could hardly be blamed for expelling her from their "stable". If it is
important to an artist to know the identity of his/her patrons, this
disclosure agreement should be part of the original contract between
the artist and gallery.]
