Older canvas paintings questions

Apologies if this is not the correct place to post this...
I was cleaning an estate and found a few canvas paintings from 1939
through 1941 (?). They all have a ''registrado'' number on them and
are made in Spain. Where can I find more information on these
paintings in regard to collectibility and value. They belong to my
sister in law, and she'd like for me to find out what they are worth
before letting them go at an auction.
A couple of the artists names are A. Brasso and G. Monetti, if that is
any help.
One painting is entitled ''Canal'' by A.Balero born in Cadiz 30-5-20,
painted in (?) Cuela Superior de Sevilla, and the painting depicts
Bela Hispano Americana 1939 (I think that's what it said). Registrado
090461.
The other paintings are named, have artists names on them as well as
the studios where they were painted, if my spanish translation is
correct ;).
