Is anyone besides me getting sick of seeing these ads repeatedly being posted?
Regardless, Yarka is hardly 'worlds finest quality', more like 'mediocre
student-grade' quality, or worse.. To label these materials as top-quality
when everyone else clearly labels them student-grade is misleading
advertising, and illegal.

And what's this 'comparable value' BS?!? Obviously you are comparing to
artists-grade materials, this stuff is NOT of that quality. For example,
the Watercolor kit you listed isn't worth $146, Jerry's lists the retail
price at $59.95, and that's only so it looks good when they discount it.
They sell the watercolor kit for $35.
So.. this 'warehouse sale' is merely a 10-15% discount..
Take your ad spams somewhere else.

I also love their water color set which I bought at the same time. I
always wanted to try pans and the Yarka set turned out to be as good
quality-wise as many of the professional lines I've relied on over the
years in tube form.
As far as comparable pricing is concerned, I'm a fan of caveat emptor. If
you think you've bought a bargain, who cares what the reference point is.
I think I've found a bargain in Yarka and plan to buy more of their
products. I think the quality is great and I'm always looking to save a
buck.

I recently received a very limited catalog of their products, and the
prices certainly are competitive, in USA dollars. I can tell by the
photographs of the products that they are not substituting W & N
Sable photos, or some other prestigious manufacturers photos
and representing them as theirs. But as you say, caveat emptor!
In my experience, you get what you pay for. Although you may
be pleased with the action of the hairs in their "sable" brushes,
it is questionable how long those hairs may stay restrained in
the ferrule if the quality of the handle doesn't match the quality
of the hairs.
What is curious to me is how many products are coming on
the market now, made in the former USSR, and all claiming to
be manufactured in St. Petersburg, as if that lends some
authenticity to claims of "guality" in Russian-made products.
