It's been quite a while since i've painted or sketched outdoors. My Understanding
Art class was meeting today at the St. Petersburg (Florida, not Russia) Art Museum, so I
packed my little watercolor/sketch kit. The museum is located on the Tampa Bay waterfront
and that entire section of town is full of inspiration.

I ended up at a little outdoor cafe directly across from the museum and painted a postcard
size watercolor of a portion of it.
I'd forgotten to pack a pencil, so ended up doing the preliminary sketch in watercolor.
How exhilarating! I sipped my cafe breve and pretended I was in France.
