THE ART SHOW LIST--Texas
=========================
vol 1, no 9: Feburary 28, 1997

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE THE POINT PERSON FOR YOUR
TOWN PLEASE LET US KNOW!!
I am looking for the Dallas Observer's homepage or email address.
if anyone has it please mail it to me, thanks!

This is a list of upcoming Art openings at museums, galleries, alternative
art spaces, universities and cyber galleries in Texas. If you know of others, please let
us know. Also, if you have a show that doesn't fit into the above categories, send it
anyway and we'll try to fit it in somewhere. This list is not perfect, mistakes are bound
to happen. I would suggest calling before traveling out of town to see a show. Remember that some
Museums and Galleries are closed on Mondays and some are by appt only. Suggestions appreciated.

The Venue list should have been mailed to you already, if not please let us know,
because they are not listed with the opening list. The VenueList is a list of just that,
Venues. If you have one to add or need a new list mail us!

We would like to get personal reviews for any shows that you have seen around Texas. The reviews
will be seen at the gallery9 web site
(http://www.neosoft.com/~nimsey/gallery9.html)along with the archive of the ASLT. If you would
like to contribute a review you can mail it to gall...@juno.com.

If you would like to subscribe via email...let us know. Please specify that you want the
"The Art Show List--Texas" in the subject line and "subscribe" in the body. If you would like to
unsubscribe then do the same but put "unsubscribe" in the body! We are considering a printed snail
mail out. If you would like to have this sent to you, then email us and we'll work it out.

This list was created for the artists, not just the establishments...
so if you are an artist and are having a show, let us know!
It is best to contact the point person in your area,
if there isnt one....Mail Nina (see below)
