Hello all,

A thousand pardons requested (from as many people, I imagine) for the
improperly spaced earlier version of this article. I was using some new
software which behaved stupidly with the text I posted through it
(which I should've anticipated, since it's a Beta-test version).

To repeat myself, hoping that this won't annoy too many of you (and I'll
kill the old article just as soon as it shows up at my site):

I'm posting on behalf of my mother who recently completed her MA in art
history (she went back to school after being a nurse for many years).
She is currently teaching some extension courses and writing some
instructional materials for local schools, but she'd like to do write
for some sort of electronic publisher or magazine. She knows, more or
less, how to address the need to get published in print media, but she
doesn't know who to ask about job possibilities with companies that
publish in other media, so she asked me if I'd find out what could
through UseNet (she's without access). So, if anyone knows of
companies that are producing art-related CD-ROMs or other similar
publications in electronic media, I'd appreciated hearing via e-mail.

And... naturally...
If this is an interesting question to this or some newgroup generally,
I'll be happy to collect the responses and either post them (if many
people are interested) or e-mail them (if few people are interested) to
interested parties. If you do send me information, *please* use e-mail
to avoid a large bandwidth expense resulting from this message, and
please do tell me if you *do* want to see a collection of results. In
order to do this politely, I feel obligated to refrain from mailing a
compilation to anyone who doesn't express a desire to receive such.

Thanks for your time (and your bandwidth ;-) ), and no, I don't expect
and overwhelming response, just perhaps a few pointers to information
sources.
