Gallery Flamme is a virtual visual arts gallery presenting the works of
young alternative and independent artists.
This month we present a selection of works by the painter Carmen Bacura
from Croatia.
The works can be seen at:

Some words from Snjezana Samac about the artist:

"In her new works, Carmen Bacura lustfully tries to discover all the
'words' language of visual arts is made of. If approached with
attention, Carmen's paintings allows us to create world of our own,
happy and gay like the children's one. The mood is dictated by
spring-like colors: red, yellow and orange. Vacuum of her canvases,
filled with shapes that evoke ornament, looks quite mighty but seems to
be struggling for surface air. Calm at first, creatures that crawl along
Carmen's paintings disturb us with an expressionist energy. Only
occasionally, a short line on a green or red background ceases their
move. It is an energy cramp that wants to get out of the darkness and
tell us that life is beautiful. A task of every artist is to note both
internal and external worlds. Carmen strives for achieving harmony of
those two. Her goal is to maje a legacy of her own existence."
