I am a 35 year old (b1971) Expressionist/Realist painter living and
working in Dublin. My controversial and confrontational work centers on
nude self-portraits, pornographic paintings and text based identity
art. But I have also painted many beautiful female portraits,
landscapes, still life's and evocative abstractions.
I have been painting seriously since the age of 10. At the age of
sixteen I left school to pursue my art. At the age of 18 I was accepted
into art college on the basis of exceptional talent, but at the time I
did not find art college suited me and I stayed only a year. However I
have attended many life drawing and life painting class in the National
College of Art in Dublin.
I have had 5 solo exhibitions in Dublin between 1994-2002. My two solo
exhibitions in the Oisin Gallery in Dublin were widely reviewed in most
Irish newspapers and I was interviewed numerous times on Irish
television. I have sold over e37,200 worth of art - the highest price
payed for one of my works was e10,478, though most of my work has sold
for around e900.
I deliberately work in a number of styles and a variety of mediums,
since I thrive on experimentation. Much of my work is based upon found
images in magazines and on television which I expressively interpret in
my work. Most of my paintings are executed on Arches or Fabriano 300lb
watercolor paper, and is small to medium scale. I have painted over
2,000 paintings (oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels and collages)
and over 2,000 finished drawings. My work has been influenced by
Picasso, Basquiat, Schnabel, Schiele, and Freud.

A load of happy horse manure. You're a real rebel who scorns the
work of traditional artists and the world of traditional art who could not
care less about success, approval, and popular opinions. A rebel who has
nothing but hatred for the world of commercialism and the boring nine- to-
five lives we live instead of breaking away to pursue a life of sex, drugs
and pornography. Yet A rebel who continues to post a long, boring
dissertation on his work and who supplies us with a website selling art
complete with the credit cards he will accept and instructions for using
them. I think you're as phoney as three dollar bill. And a virgin also !
