What in your experience are the best sites for art auctions and/or sales ?

I just saw a television-news article on online auction
sites being scams, some of them. I guess my advice
would be, be careful. Please note I'm not speaking
of any auction site in particular...

This I would have to agree with on all art sites.
Most of them are run by amatures who know nothing about art or the
handling of it.

Two things geeks have to learn about the arts

1 st bring your checkbook if you want to get near the art.
2 nd is we expect a chasiers check BEFORE we ship.
