Hello.

Please come and see my realist landscape paintings, which are painted in
painstaking detail using the ancient casein medium.

Casein paint is made from milk, and is somewhat like egg tempera, except it
dries to a velvety matte finish. Casein painting goes back to prehistric
time, some found in central Asia have been dated 9000 years old. In more
recent times casein was employed by painters in ancient Rome, and in the
early Rennaisance. Twentieth century casein painters include Ben Shahn and
Erte.

My show is at the Rebecca Gallery, 317 Grace Street,(at the corner of Grace
and Harbord) until June 28,1998. I hope to see you soon.

P.S. I`ve sold six paintings so far.
