Andrew Wyeth oil painting.

A friend was recently given an old painting tilted "Half Bushel" by
Andrew Wyeth. Could anyone suggest how to go about getting the painting
evaluated and maybe how he should sell it if he decides to do so.

I would first try the local museum(call) they may have a free day set up for
appraisals.The key is remembering you can't trust all dealers.
Also a A.W. sketch with his signature is worth thousands.A major work is worth
a small fortune.
Another thing to remember,He is very old upon his death your friends piece may
double in value over night as horrible as that sounds.

Is there any kind of a list for his know paintings. I have seen a few of his
paintings on the internet but was unable to find one titled "Half Bushel".
