I'm currently rendering a scene with watercolor pencil. I'd like to
know is there a fixative aside from the typical fixative you use to
protect finished graphite drawings?

I'm concerned about the fluidity of the pigment reacting with any kind
of liquid sprays.

Thanks much!
Gloria

Gloria: Watercolor artists don't normally "fix" their watercolors--they
frame them under glass. However, I believe Winsor & Newton now has a
watercolor fixative that can be sprayed on to prevent the colors from
dissolving with successive glazes. I don't know if this would affect the wc
pencils, because I haven't used it.
