I'm looking for anyone who can help me with information about a painter named Ludomir Slendzinski. I have found very skimpy information in the usual art dictionaries, etc. and wondered if anyone else had some information. It's a long story, but the short version is that I know very little about art, but took a chance on buying an oil painting from a "junk dealer" type. I bought it because I liked it, but I feel that it may be somewhat valuable. It is signed Ludomir Slendzinski - 1960, and has a handwritten tag on the back (in Polish, I presume) that may be an exhibition note. It is in an impressionist-like style, primarily red in color. It's approx 30" x 40" and in very good shape. I don't even know what else to describe or ask! If anyone has any information about this artist, the painting, its value, etc. please let me know. I just want to know what I have and how concerned I should be with it.
I don't read this news group normally, but will look in for awhile to see responses, however, I would prefer an e-mail
