Several years ago, I was given a watercolour painting by a friend. I
was very surprised but as the painter had the same last name as me, I
was intrigued. It was obviously a scene from England and the title is
Leeds Bridge. I am from England, too. Anyway, the frame was falling
apart a little, so I took it apart. The painting appears to have been
painted on a piece of thick card, which turned over, is a calendar of
1916 (if memory serves me ..I have since put the painting back together.
Was this normal for that time?? Anyone have a clue as to if this
painting is valuable or not?? I just love it anyway.
