I have Art after Modernism, Is Modernism Dead, and a collection edited
by Marcia Tucker. Am looking for anything else, from any year.
Thanks.
1) Jean-Francois Lyotard "The Postmodern Condition: A report on
Knowledge."
2) E. Cahoone "From Modernism to Postmodernism: An Anthology."
3) Anything on Nietzsche & Postmodernism
4) Commentaries on the works of Michel Foucault, or his book
"Power/Knowledge".
In relation to art & representation, I would look at:
1) Work by Jean Baudrillard (esp. his concept of the `hyper-real')
2) "20th Century Theories of Art," edited by James Thompson.
3) Jacques Derrida's "Writing and Differance." This deals with
representation and its contemporary critique.
These are, in my opinion, primary sources by very influential thinkers.
You will find many secondary commentaries on these sources by a wide range
of writers. Good luck!
A Bientot,
A.
