Turns out a company called Media Collectables is making dalek models (1/35
scale - how big, I have NO idea!) They seem to be based on the ones in TV
Century 21 comics. They are about 8 quid each. They sound nice. Does anyone
have any more info?

1/35th scale?
Thats around one and a half to two inches tall isn't it?
Comet produce a one eighth scale model kit whilst the original foot tall Sevans
Dalek kit was one fifth in scale.
Do they come ready painted or is it a kit you assemble and paint yourself?
Anyone know?

The ad in DWM seems to imply that they are the same sort of thing as those
Harlequin Miniatures - white metal that you put bits together from and then
paint. I'm tempted myself, but then I enjoy painting miniatures. Can anyone
let me know if 1/35th is the same scale as the HMs?

I saw some of these at "The Day of the Daleks". They're *gorgeous* (if
you're a sad Dalek fan like me). In the display case they had in the
dealers room they had a number of Daleks, an Abslom Daak figure
(complete with tiny graphic novel cover), and that robot secret agent
from the TV21 strip. ISTR they had a mechanoid there too, but I might be
wrong there. The attention to detail was impressive, and the sculpting
was perfect.

I saw the original masters at last years big Dalek con...very very detailed.
These new versions whilst small are very detailed plastic and need painting
up professionally to look good.
From what I remember they're not much bigger than a Rolykin but better
detailed.
The dome looks a bit on the flat side though....but then I am a purist!
