I don't think he actually said "barmy", more like mad, but basically he
looked on messageboards (yes, most likely this one) and saw people
saying his Master was too camp and thought "what do they know".

I imagine John Simm is being over-generous when he said 300 as I doubt
he hung around long enough to see how many were actually here.
Considering it's only people like Aggy and Iggy who moan about current
Who to a large extent it was perhaps just those posts he saw. Or perhaps
he saw Yads' 300 posts a day and thought they couldn't possibly be from
one person, - as that would be totally fucktard. :-)

Well, I`ll say again, it`s highly un-likely he looked in here. It would have
been Outpost Gallifrey or maybe Dr Who Online he looked at back when his
episodes aired. They are the main hub of online Dr Who fandom and the two
( well, Gallifrey Base is now the new Outpost Gallifrey ) most well known.
Outpost Gallifrey used to get a couple of thousand posting after a new
episode. We get fifteen. It`s only the old stalwarts still using usenet.

There`s no way Yads would last more than half a dozen posts there before
being booted out. A lot of old radw posters have migrated there over the
years, I`m surprised you never visited the old Outpost Gallifrey news page
before it shut it `s doors earlier in the year. It`s why most of us never
needed to buy DWM!

Gallifrey Base replaced it, it currently has just over 20,000 active members
including the restoration team who also gave up on radw a long time back.
Whenever the media report on anything to do with Who fan`s opinions it can
always be led back to posts made there and I`m sure most of the production
team are aware of it. Of course people like Rob Shearman used to post here
years back before Yads run them out of town.

It's a sad indication of how people have been driven away from here or
just got bored of Usenet, that in a time when Doctor Who has never been so
popular on the TV, RADW can just about muster 15-20 posters. :-(

Then there are the other 20 or so of us who don't want to waste time
filtering through all that BS to get to a real discussion.

***Just killfile the doctor and you should be able to have any

I think one of the reasons we react to Yads is so that no one believes
his lies. Thing is, no one will anyway, as most of USENET must realise
what a prize twat he is by now.

He brought it all on himself. Not that he'll acknowledge that.

And it's not like we'll miss anything original. "Thus TRolled
trollsbury" will probably be his reply to this. Or "Thus TRolled deluded
troll trollsbury" or "0/10", YADda YADda YADda. :-)
