That's a week Saturday.
5 weeks to see off the Ponds, then a break 'till Christmas.

Do you have a source for that? I've tried googling, but can only find
sites (eg. Examiner.com) that claim it's probably going to be on
September 1st.

(no official announcement yet, it seems).

What low ratings?

Quite right. I mucked up the date. Should be 25th. Blame it on
eyesight. I seem to need a different pair of glasses for every
different job nowadays.

Try the Telegraph for a source. I can't understand the secrecy... as
if we're going to sit on the edge of our seats waiting. If it happened
to pass me by, I would still be able to catch up. As it stands, my
personal indifference means that without catching an announcement, I'd
still be waiting in December.I never look at Saturday schedules
because they're always pure shite.

Sounds reasonable. Moffat's trolling is already on the Nth spin of the wheel
and his tricks are beginning to increase contrast and smearing through the
multiple photocopying. When the blurry mess gets bad enough even the most
die hard fan will toss the effort into the bin, set fire to it, and bury the
ashes in at least three separate locations. This does of course beg the
question, last minute Moffat desperate screeching and handwaving aside in an
attempt to wring the last micro-ounce of attention, what next?

While I don't agree with all the hatemodernwho types who post here, I think
this is not good. Why start it on Bank holiday weekend when everyone takes
the kids away because school starts again soon. Are they trying to get bad
viewing figures?
