He is that... I agree.

And you!
Actually, this seemed as good a time as any around here to remind folks of our
common ground....

Shh! He might hear you!

Well, perhaps... but isn't somewhere in the next universe over? (is it time to
repost the discussion about "the physics of fiction"?)

If it's brownie cake with real whipped cream for frosting, I'll be there in two
shakes!!!

?Theme? song for the first, second and third Doc:
"He'll have fun, fun, fun, 'til the Time Lords take the TARDIS away"
BTW, I'm a complete innocent when it comes to Pertwee's era... how *did* he get
the TARDIS back? Did he finally manage to repair it, or did the High Council
decide that he had "served his time"?

Never seen "The Three Doctors?"
Best place to find out.

He helped them out with the Omega problem in the Three Doctors. They
rewarded him with a new dematerialisation circuit and restored his memory of
temporal theory.
He had travelled in the TARDIS a couple of times before that, presumably by
Time Lord influence.
Pertwee's out of fashion, but I think his Doctor was a lot of fun.

Without spoling *too* much, after the Doctors defeat Omega and save
Gallifrey in the process, the Time Lords reward PertweeDoc by giving him a
new dematerialisation circuit, and returning the knowledge on how to operate
the TARDIS to him. "They've forgiven me.." muses PertweeDoc..
BTW, you going to join in Round Two of the pro-fun troll games (going on now)?
Hmmm... not much of a response, so far this time 'round... After the hoopla of
the Adrics, are people expecting an Olympic style opening ceremony?
Anyone know where I can hire a band, in any case?
Do you play an instrument, Rufus?
I play the radio. Quite expertly, I'm told.
>I play the radio. Quite expertly, I'm told.
:-) This reminds me of a bit on Sesame Street:
Famed Violinist Isaac Stern is leading Big Bird and a line of kids in a musical
game of "follow the leader.
As the music stops, Big Bird says: "Gee, you play really well, Mr. Stern!"
I.S: (Bowing) Thank you, Big Bird.
BB: And you're good with the violin, too!
:-)
Anyway, this is cyber-land... just like in dreams, you can play any instrument
you choose, and do so while flying (right now, for example. I'm an expert with
the fiddle).
