Les Dennis is a somewhat cheesy gameshow host in the UK, something along the
lines of the merkin's Regis. He's been on the UK scene for donkeys years.
Anyway, he married actress Amanda Holden and they've just split up.

There's an interesting quote in this week's Heat magazine, verbatim:

'Sophie Aldred, the woman Les had an affair with during his first marriage,
revealed, "I spoke to Les....yada yada yada..."

Is this Ace ?? Was she really doing the shifty-shafty-shufty with Les a
while back ? This would be pre-1995.

Yes. It's no big secret as it was widely reported in the newspapers at the
time.

Well the bit of respect that I had for Sophie Aldred just went out the
window.

as Sophie was born in 1962, she would have been in her late late 20s at the
time of the affair so certainly old enough to decide whether she wanted a
relationship with Les Dennis.

On the other hand, by the time of Amanda Holden, he was older and she was a
younger woman.

I personally don't like the whole cheating aspect. When you get
married, both promise to be faithful to each other.. To then cheat is
one definately not good. To willingly have an affair with someone you
know is married is also not nice. I wonder how Sophie would feel now
if her husband had an affair?

That's one way of looking at it I suppose. But I say Sophie Aldred AND
Amanda Holden? Bloody well done Les Dennis!

[And there I was thinking Les was some sort of nutter after seeing him on
Celebrity Big Brother. It just goes to show you that the man can act as well
as pull nice totty.]

Well Sophie Aldred will be 41 this year and I think Les Dennis is in
his mid-late 40s so it's hardly a huge age gap. Pretty normal gap with
many couples infact.

Amanda Holden is in her early 30s I believe.

You mean when you were 44 you would kick her out?

I suspect not.

Well, apparently his success has something to do with him being
exceptionally well endowed...

Les Denis's Sloppy Seconds?

Sounds like the title of a game show.

No, I was replying to the point that Les was described as a seedy gent
hitting on young girls. I pointed out that Sophie and Les were similar ages
but noted that the gap was bigger between him and Amanda.
