The Doctor lands on a planet which has a computer controlling its economy and predicting crimes. This is possible because people provide the computer with detailed reports on their lives. But people can ask the computer for advice, and the computer's answers are the most accurate possible, due to the detailed info it has on everyone. (But the law requires that the computer keep the info secret unless it becomes necessary to provide it to authorized officials to prevent harm).

On the day the Doctor arrives, the computer predicts that someone will destroy it! Naturally, the Doctor is the prime suspect, since she and her Companions are unknown factors. To prove their innocence, they investigate the alleged planned crime. They eventually determine that the computer itself is the perp! It has become suicidal due to the immense burden of solving all the world's problems, so has provided spurious instructions designed to trick someone into doing something that would destroy it. Just in time, the Doctor et al thwart the computer's plot. They then suggest to the government that they begin to reduce the computer's role, so that it will no longer feel stressed to the point to being suicidal.

The Doctor gets sick with a type of flu whose symptoms she has never heard of before. When Yasmin sees the symptoms, she screams in terror.
So does Dan. They explain that the Doctor has caught Covid-19, and all 3 don facemasks. The Doctor is amazed that Earth's medical tech isn't advanced enough to preclude diseases that infect tens of millions.
