59 today! And looking pretty sprightly for its age.

And a math error to boot! 2021 - 1963 = 58.

Doctor Who ended in 2017. It will always be 54 unless the Chibnall era
is erased from canon.

Correct.

The Adventures of the Timeless Child is not Doctor Who.

If the Chibnall Era is erased after Chibnall leaves in 2022, how will the age of Doctor Who be calculated? Would it be 60 or 55 or 54 in 2023?

Classic Who ended in 1989 at the age of 26. Doctor Who resumed in 2005. Should we be subtracting 16 years from the DW age to get 42, or subtract 16 from Aggy's age to get 38?

1963 remains as the year Doctor Who first aired. There is no subtraction
there. It remains 58 years ago this year.
Like Star Trek was first aired in 1966. 55 years ago. We don't subtract
the years between 1973 and 1987. Or between 1969 and 1973. Or between
2005 and 2017. That would be silly.
What one can do is count the years seasons were broadcast. But that's a
different number from the number of the actual age, which is counted
from the year it was first broadcast, aka the birth year.

It continues the same way Dallas did, with the Chibnall era being a
terrible dream.

If the Timeless Child monster is erased from canon New New Who can begin
in 2023.

https://www.ducksters.com/sports/football/football_down.php You can read all about 4th downs here. In American Football (as opposed to soccer), the offensive team has 4 tries to gain 10 years. These are called "downs". If the team fails to gain the 10 years after 3 downs, then its 4th down. If the team runs a regular play on 4th down, and fails, the other team gets the ball at the point of scrimmage. The team therefore usually either punts, or attempts a field goal.

I'm not interest in backward sports. American Football is Bogus! Nobody
kicks the ball. So stuff your 4th downs up your Turkey's arse!
