Yep.
Doctor Who 7.27 million 36.05% share
And and Dec 6.024 million 30.86% share
Casualty 7.5 million 34.3% share
Given the change in clocks, better weather, and Ant and Dec having Tony
Bliar on and starting 15 minutes early, DW still comfortably beats them.
They finish in four weeks as well, so that should lead to a nice rise in
audience for the Dalek episode as well, and possibly even settle around the
8 million mark for the second half of the season.

Isn't it still a little early for the figures to come out?
I mean, it was mid-afternoon last week before ANYTHING came out but so far
there have been two sources for EOTW before mid-day, both quoting different
numbers.

Plus it's possible a lot of people who *may* have watched last week
could have been watching the news for developments on the Pope's condition.
I'm not suggesting that it makes the 3million difference between last
week and this but it could account for a few hundred thousand.

Viewingfigures.com is BARB's official site- I know which source I'd believe!
Reports still saying that the ITV strike may take them off air sooner
than that!
As for the Who ratings - do we know where the peak was? Did people
switch off during the episode?

It was Easter Sunday last week - the ratings usually come out just
before midday on a normal weekday.

Very. What about in comparison to other shows in the same time slot?

No, quite the opposite. Peak was 7.9m in final 15 minutes.
Excellent news. And the way Ant n' Dec got increased ratings once DW
finished seems to show viewers are choosing Dr Who as first choice
(hopefully not taping Ant and Dec either).

Looks as if A & D and on their way out. Maybe they need to reschedule.

Hey, let's not begrudge Ant and Dec their success - they work damned hard
and are very popular!
