Submission Guidelines for rec.arts.drwho.info

CHARTER: rec.arts.drwho.info
The purpose of rec.arts.drwho.info shall be to allow people quick and
easy access to informational postings about Doctor Who. These shall
include, but not be limited to:
1) Release information regarding New Adventures, Missing Adventures,
and videos.
2) Listings of Fan Clubs, TV Stations that carry Doctor Who, upcoming
conventions, etc.
3) FAQs regarding Doctor Who.
4) Information regarding upcoming conventions.
5) Information regarding new Doctor Who TV serials, specials,
documentaries.
As rec.arts.drwho.info is not for the discussion of the information,
follow-ups will be set to the appropriate group.

Articles that are welcome in rec.arts.drwho.info include:
* Information regarding any new Dr. Who TV movie/series that
may occur.
* Lists of upcoming New/Missing Adventures, Video releases, etc.
* Articles or information from articles in newspapers,
magazines, etc. You MUST follow copyright laws and
attribute the article properly.
* Information on upcoming conventions or online events.
* Information describing what was said at conventions.
* Reviews
Articles that will not be accepted on rec.arts.drwho.info include:
* Questions regarding Dr. Who in general or previous posts in
this newsgroup. (Followups are set to rec.arts.drwho for a
reason).
* Opinions. (Some comments on information MAY be allowed.)
* Informational posts with information that may be unreliable.
* Any other posts which the moderator does not feel are
appropriate for the newsgroup.
If you forget to set the Followup-To: to rec.arts.drwho, I will set it
for you. (In some cases, setting the Followup-To elsewhere may be more
appropriate, in which case you may set it there.) Also, cross-posting
to rec.arts.drwho can't hurt. (Just make sure that you cross-post it
as opposed to posting it once in each newsgroup). Please do not post
your article separately to rec.arts.drwho. If your article is
rejected, you may go ahead and then post it to rec.arts.drwho. (This
way people will not see the message twice.)
Articles may be reformatted.
If you wish to post an article anonymously, please send me the article
with a note attached at the top saying so. I will strip out all
headers that may clue people in as to who it is from.
When in doubt, submit your article. I'd prefer to reject an article
than to not see valid information posted. And if I do reject it, there
is no reason why you cannot post it to rec.arts.drwho alone.
