C-3P0 has one silver leg

C-3PO's leg has always been silver. If you look in the first Star Wars at the
beginning where the Imperial Forces are boarding the Corillian ship that Leia
is on it has a very good shot of 3PO and you can see it very well there. There
is also a good shot when 3PO and R2 first land on Tatooine.

when c-3po is inpieces and chewie has to put him back together, you can
really see it too

As an amazingly hard-core Star Wars fan I was surprised never to have noticed that before either...
HOWever, 3PO's lower (left?) leg is silver right from A New Hope!
The Disney folks would be proud that we've learned something new!!! :)

bugged me the first time I noticed it too...but sure nuff, in the first
part of star wars his leg is most certainly silver!! :)

Brett... If I'm not mistaken, the C-3po's in the Star Tours
attractions were made from actual costumes used in the films. In
EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, R2-D2 replaced one of 3PO's legs (remeber he was
blown apart in the cloud city). I believe the replacement leg was
silver.
