I was just wondering if anyone has a Blackberry/RIM unit, and has used
them in and around the parks. I get service through Motient, and while it
states that Lake Buena Vista has In-Building coverage, I'd like to see if
anyone has used their units in attractions or inside of buildings.
If you don't know what one of these things is, well, many people call
theirs a CrackBerry. This thing is absolutely addictive! This unit can
websurf, send/receive email, do Yahoo! Instant Messenger (and other IMs),
act as a pager (with a toll free # so people can leave Voice Mail),
send FAXes, and more.
Even with all of my other electronic gadgets, this thing is small enough
to leave everything (well, except maybe my cell phone) behind. In fact, I
have to say, that Deb's WDWIG site looks very cool on the browser, and the
pages show up very well! (I have a RIM 857 - with the big screen - so,
that definitely helps!)
I'm part of a Guinea Pig Group at work, and I don't think I'll even give
it up for my upcoming 10+ day vacation to the "World"....especially to do
"live" trip reports!
15 days to go!

I've got one and haven't brought it to the parks yet. I do expect it to work,
though (at least outside).
>CrackBerry.
This is very funny! We're all addicted to ours too.
